Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woody molded body having high strength and fire resistance and having excellent design.SOLUTION: A woody molded body 1 is obtainable by forming a plurality of composite plates 2, and sequentially laminating and bonding the composite plates 2 so that their respective longitudinal directions are orthogonal to each other. Each of the composite plates 2 is formed by disposing side by side a plurality of woody materials 2a, 2a, ..., each being made of a tabular body with a required size, so that their respective side surfaces in the longitudinal direction are contacted with each other. Because each of the woody materials 2a is colored with a wood protective coating material, the woody molded body has high strength and fire resistance and also has excellent design.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
