To provide a woody pellet combustion device capable of improving a combustion state of woody pellet by suppressing accumulation of ash and generation of clinker on a combustion section.
In a pellet stove 10, the woody pellet 14 is conveyed onto a combustion face 32A of a grate 32 by an upper screw 20 and a lower screw 22, and the woody pellet 14 is burned on the combustion face 32A. Here, the combustion face 32A has horizontal faces 32B and vertical faces 32C, and a left side of the combustion face 32A is gradually lowered in comparison with a right side of the combustion face 32A. Thus accumulation of the woody pellet 14 on the combustion face 32A can be suppressed by the vertical faces 32C while suppressing unnecessary falling of the woody pellet 14 from the combustion face 32A by the horizontal faces 32B. Further the accumulation of ash and the generation of clinker on the combustion face 32A can be suppressed, and the combustion state of the woody pellet 14 can be improved.
