Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a flat part in a frequency versus output sound pressure level characteristic and to increase an output sound pressure level in a system consisting of a woofer attached to a speaker cabinet where the woofer is driven by a low frequency sound signal.
SOLUTION: The speaker system is provided with a speaker cabinet 11 having pluralities of partition spaces 22A-22F whose volumes differ from each other provided with speaker mounts 23A-23F and with pluralities of woofers 12A-12F which are attached respectively to the speaker mounts 23A-23F of pluralities of the partition spaces 22A-22F respectively, whose minimum resonance frequencies differ from each other and which are driven simultaneously by a substantially same low frequency sound signal.
