Title:
WORD PROCESSOR CONTAINING TOUCH TYPING PRACTICING FUNCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06243139
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable a user to practice the key arrangement in accordance with his own input device by using an input mode designating means which can selectively designate both HIRAGANA (cursive form of Japanese syllabary) and Romanized character input tables.

CONSTITUTION: A HIRAGANA input table 2 outputs the HIRAGANA codes in response to the operations of HIRAGANA keys of a key input part. Meanwhile a Romanized character input table 3 outputs the HIRAGANA codes in response to the operations of Romanized character keys. Then an input mode designating means 1 selectively designates both tables 2 and 3 when a touch typing practicing function is started. That is, the means 1 can designate a HIRAGANA or Romanized character input mode by selecting interactively both tables 2 and 3 on a display screen or allocating and pushing a specific control key. The designated input mode is stored by an input mode flag 6 and therefore a game processing part 9 changes the fetching time of the input data.
