Title:
WORD PROCESSOR GRAPHIC CHARACTER FOR CHEMICAL STRUCTUAL FORMULA REPRESENTATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6039225
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form various chemical structual formulae by means of a word processor with a few kinds of graphic characters by placing a position of any abbreviated chemical atomic symbol or a position of the end of an accessory leading-out line at nearly the middle of a graphic character side and giving nearly 45° tilt to said line.

CONSTITUTION: In an example of a benzene ring, when the upper and lower parts and the left and right parts of the ring are divided respectively into three, nine in total, the position of the carbon atoms 1 and 4 is at the middle of the graphic character. Further, the end 8 of a leading-out line 7 from the remaining carbon atoms 2, 3, 5 and 6 is at the center of the graphic character side and the tilt of the line 7 is nearly 45°. On the other hand, in an example of a horizontal benzene ring having no leading-out line, when the ring is divided respectively into three, nine in total for the upper and lower parts and the left and right parts of the ring, the positions 1, 2...6 of the abbreviated carbon atoms are placed at the center of each graphic character side.
