Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce fatigue of a seating person due to long-time seating work such as a surgery.SOLUTION: A work chair primarily used for work such as surgery, includes a seat part 2 for supporting a seating person, and a lumbar support part 3. The seat part 2 has a depth length L that is the length to support the buttocks and parts of the femoral areas near the gluteal sulcus when a person deeply seats thereon, with the pelvis erected, and the length to insufficiently support the femoral areas when the person seats thereon in a sacral sitting position. The chair includes a rear area 9 restricted to an area immediately before the lumbar support part 3, that three-dimensionally supports the ischial tuberosity of the seating person.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
