A work conveyor holds a work between press devices in which each die is driven by using a predetermined holding means, and conveys the work. There is provided a conveyance control means to control the position of the holding means based on the composed target value obtained by composing the die position (the upstream side die position) of the press device located on the upstream side in the work conveying direction with the die position (the downstream side die position) of the press device located on the downstream side. The conveyance control means employs a means to set the synthesized target value so that the holding means is smoothly moved.
