PURPOSE: To perform operations of carrying in a work to be processed and carrying out a processed work simultaneously by making an opening angle between a work setting position of carry-in and carry-out moving devices and an escape position of a jig equal to an opening angle between both hands.
CONSTITUTION: A work table 63 with a jig placed is placed on a gear cutting machine so that it can freely advance and retreat so that a work holding jig 67 is positioned between a processing part and a rial 1 side escape part on a gear cutting machine 3. On this work table, a carry-in hand 9A and a carry- out hand 9B having an equal turning radius are attached via a lift with a specific opening angle as well as an opening angle centering the turning center of a turning device between a work setting position of work carry-in and carry- out moving devices 10, 11 and the escape position of the jig is made equal to an opening angle between both hands. Thus one device 12 for mounting and demounting work is equipped with two hands so as to carry a work to be processed into the gear cutting machine and carry a processed work out of the machine.
