Abstract:
PURPOSE: To insert a contact part on the tip of a fork to measure an inside diameter of a work up to a position where this contact part comes into contact with a groove inner peripheral surface of the work with a simple structure without carrying out complicated control.
CONSTITUTION: A fork 34 rotatable and displaceable to a main body of a fork gauge 32 is provided, and a contactor 48 is arranged on the tip. In the fork 34, a protrusion 50 to be pressed is arranged protrusively on the side closer to the rotational center than the contactor 48. A guiding member 52 to move slidingly with the protrusion 50 to be pressed is arranged on an inside surface of an electromagnetic chuck 18 to hold a work W, and the fork 34 and the contactor 48 are rotated and displaced by pressing of the protrusion 50 to be pressed by this sliding motion, so that the contactor 48 can be reached automatically up to a prescribed position on an inner peripheral surface of a groove 29.
