PURPOSE: To fully automate the work device for a symmetric type panel plate in which two plates for a lead acid battery are paired.
CONSTITUTION: An inclined plate group is sent by a push plate (f) and a bottom carrier chain 13 driven by a motor and the center of a panel plate is cut by a cutter 15 and is divided into two. The divided plates arrives at a clamp section. When the plate 1 is carried until the push plate (f) arrives at the point shown in the figure, a clamp pawl (i) is raised and the push plate (f) is returned to its home position. Rotary brushes 17-1, 17-2, 18-1, and 18-2 brush the cut end of the plate by up/down motion of a cylinder. When brushing is completed, the clamp pawl (i) is unclamped, and laminated plates are received by raising a plate receiving body 19 by means of the cylinder of a loading section and are moved by the cylinder and then loaded on the chain 20 of a carrier conveyor section.
