To solve problems of complicatedness in recording, totalizing, and treating work data in addition to problems of inaccuracy and lengthiness of data handling work by providing a collecting device, which inputs data by individual workers into a recording medium for storage, and a totalizing device, which inputs and totalizes these stored data by individual workers.
An individual FD1 is inputted into a plurality of personal computers 3 for collection, and personal information is indicated on a front scope of the computer 3. After this, a work number FD2 is inputted, and the content of the work is indicated. After the content of this work is selected by using a mouse, the work number FD2 is taken out. Next, the individual FD1 is inputted again, so that the FD1 saves the work content, which was selected and conducted, work start time, and work start flag. At the completion of the work, a difference between the time at that time and the work start time is indicated as a work hour, while work actual data are prepared and they are saved by the individual FD1. After this, the individual FD1 is inputted into a personal computer 4 for collection in order to make up a work management table and (concurrently) work diary, an over-time work list, and work efficiency list by individuals.
