Abstract:
To provide a water cut-off agent coating work facility capable of attaining contamination prevention in a process of manually coating a tip end of an electric wire with a water cut-off agent.SOLUTION: A water cut-off agent coating work facility comprises: a water cut-off agent container 10; a shutter 20 which opens/closes a top face of the water cut-off agent container; a shutter opening/closing driving mechanism 21; switch means 30 which is disposed in front of the water cut-off agent container in a view from a worker and by which, when a hand T of the worker gripping an electric wire is moved toward the water cut-off agent container, an ON signal is generated in reaction to a motion of the hand; and shutter opening/closing control means which moves the shutter to a closing position in response to the ON signal output from the switch means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
