Abstract:
To provide a bamboo hollowed work featuring the shape of bamboo, which has been familiar in Japan, traditionally.
A pattern including straight lines and curved lines is drawn between joints of bamboo. Holes are drilled by a gimlet or the like at parts to be hollowed for the pattern. The bamboo is hollowed out as designed, by using a saw or the like, from the holes. A contrast is formed between the front surface which remains as it is and the rear surface of bamboo.
