PURPOSE: To enable works to be continuously processed with the grinding surface properly faced even when a plurality of works is ground while being adjacently placed with one another by disposing both a guide held in parallel with a blade and a work pushing member smoothly moved along the guide just above the work supporting blade of a centerless grinder.
CONSTITUTION: After a plurality of works 3 stretched roughly in a disc shape has been held at the front end of a blade 4, each work 3 is pushed by a work pushing member 8 at its rear section along a guide 5. Grinding each outer circumference of the works is kept on while each work is being rotated reversely to the rotation of a grinding stone upon hitting of each work 3 against the grinding stone and a regulating wheel. Feeding the work pushing member 8 by force greater than resistance caused by grinding allows each work to entirely pass through a space between the grinding stone and the regulating wheel. In this case, if the work pushing member 8 is not rotated at all, each work 3 at the rear section will spring up. Each work 3 at the rear section is thereby made to be smoothly rotated by means of the rotating disc of the work pushing member 8, so that each work 3 is prevented from springing up.
