PURPOSE: To improve the working efficiency extensively by providing an inclined holding plate whose inclination can be regulated freely between a fixing block and a rotary block making a rotary shaft provided parallel to the moving direction of a movable block as the center.

CONSTITUTION: This work fixing device has a base board 1 fixed on the work- table of a machine tool, a fixing block 2 fixed on one end of the base board 1, and a movable block 4 provided movable on the base board 1 and to press a workpiece to the fixing block 2. An inclined holding plate 14 whose inclination can be regulated freely making a rotary shaft 6 set parallel to the moving direction of the movable block 4 as the center is provided between the fixing block 2 and the movable block 4. When the workpiece is necessary to fix in the inclined condition, the rotary shaft 6 is rotated to incline the inclined holding plate 14 at a desired angle, and then, the workpiece is loaded on the inclined holding plate 14 and fastened by the movable block 4.
