Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely position a work by a work positioning means and to highly precisely machine the work by providing a shield means for always shielding the work positioning means to prevent the entering of dust.
SOLUTION: A cover 26 being the fixed shield member having U-shaped cross section surrounding three ways is fitted to the outer periphery of arm guide members 8, 9 with bolts 27. The cover 26 approaches the arm guide members 8, 9 to prevent pins 11, 12 passing through the arm guide members 8, 9 from falling off. Around the outer periphery of the cover 26, a plate-like cover 28 and a box-like cover 29 being movable shield members for perfectly covering the side part and the upper part are provided. The part of an arm 16 from the block 21 to near the lower end is perfectly covered by these covers 28, 29. By this constitution, dust and spark is prevented from entering and the work is precisely posioned by the work positioning means.
