PURPOSE: To make a speedy work inserting job performable, by installing plural vibrating members, giving each vibration to respective works and making each of them into a normal inserting state, in a way of making these member retract able toward respective work inserting parts and energizing each in the forward direction.
CONSTITUTION: With rotation of a cam 37, an exciting member 30 goes up and repeats such motion that is going down after moving up and down at the up position. During operation of this exciting member 30, each solenoid-driving device keeps an operating rod in a state of being advanced unless it receives a work insertion state abnormal signal out of a sensor 15 corresponding to each one. Four work inserting devices 2 insert an integrated circuit package 4 out of a tray 6 into a socket 1 of an ageing substrate 8 each and go up. At this time, if either of sensors 15 detects trouble in the inserted state of the IC pakage 4 to the socket 1, up motion of these work inserting devices 2 is stopped.
