Abstract:
To provide a work machine that reduces damage on structures caused by contact with a counterweight.SOLUTION: A work machine includes an undercarriage, a revolving superstructure that is ratably supported by the undercarriage, a work device that operates and is supported by the revolving superstructure, and a counterweight that is supported on the rear end of the revolving superstructure to separate from the work device across the revolving center of the revolving superstructure in order to keep the weight balance. A buffer member that has lower rigidity than the counterweight is attached detachably to the counterweight on the outer surface of the counterweight that is the periphery of the rear end of the revolving superstructure when the revolving superstructure rotates.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
