Abstract:
To provide a work machine which can suitably discharge work pieces generated by a work.SOLUTION: A work machine includes: a motor; a circular saw blade 4 which is driven by the motor; and a saw cover 5 which covers a part of the circular saw blade. The work machine can perform a working operation on a working material by applying forward force to the circular saw blade 4. The saw cover 5 has a front discharge port 20 and a rear discharge port 30, which can discharge work pieces generated by the work from the inside to the outside of the saw cover. The front discharge port 20 and the rear discharge port 30 are separated from each other in a longitudinal direction. The work machine includes a changeover section 40 which can switch at least one of the front discharge port 20 and the rear discharge port 30 between an open state and a closed state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
