Abstract:
To inhibit increase in the size.SOLUTION: A band saw 10 is formed including a base 20 and a frame 42 provided on the base 20. A rear end part of the frame 42 is swingably connected to the base 20 with a swing shaft 24. Further, the frame 42 is provided with a brushless motor 82, a driving saw wheel 54, and a driven saw wheel 58. A band saw 62 is wound around the driving saw wheel 54 and the driven saw wheel 58. The frame 42 is provided with a control unit 90 which controls the brushless motor 82. The control unit 90 is disposed around the brushless motor 82. Further, the brushless motor 82 and the control unit 90 are housed in an outer housing 72. The structure allows the brushless motor 82 and the control unit 90 to be disposed collectively and housed in the outer housing 72.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
