Abstract:
To provide a work machine which adopts a brushless motor while inhibiting deterioration of workability.SOLUTION: In a band saw 10, a rear end part of a rear frame part 42A in a frame 42 is swingably connected to a base 20 with a swing shaft 24. A driving mechanism 70 is provided at the rear frame part 42A. In other words, components, such as a brushless motor 82, a control unit 90, a power cord, and a switch cord 94, which form the driving mechanism 70 can be disposed near the swing shaft 24. The structure makes the band saw 10 less likely to be affected by a moment caused by the driving mechanism 70 when a band saw body 40 is swung from an initial position, and a processed material can be cut by a band saw 62 exposed from an opening 42D of the frame 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
