Abstract:
To provide a technology for cooling a control unit.SOLUTION: A work machine includes: a motor that drives a work part; a fan driven by the motor for forming an air flow in a first space; a control unit arranged in the first space; a barrier wall that separates the first space and a second space; a first opening formed in the barrier wall for communicating the first space and the second space; and a rib extending from the barrier wall in the first space for forming an air passage through which the air flow flows, in between the rib and the control unit. The control unit includes a circuit board that controls driving of the motor, and a case that accommodates the circuit board. The control unit has a first surface facing the rib. When viewed from a first direction orthogonal to the first surface, the rib and the first surface at least partially overlap with each other. With respect to the first direction, the distance between the rib and the first surface is smaller than the thickness of the case.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
