Abstract:
To reduce costs.SOLUTION: An electric cutting machine 10 is configured so that an inner case 40 includes a box-shaped case main body 42 opened upward and a case cover 44 blocking an opening part 42M of the case main body 42. A driving mechanism 70, housed in the inner case 40, is arranged so as not to protrude upward from the opening part 42M of the case main body 42. This enables the case cover 44 to be formed in a flat plate-shape with a vertical direction as a plate thickness direction, so that the opening part 42M of the case cover 44 can be blocked. Thereby, the case cover 44 can be formed by applying press processing (die-cut) to a metal plate material. This can reduce costs of the case cover 44 and the inner case 40, more in comparison with a case where the case cover 44 is manufactured by casting, for instance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
