Abstract:
To improve performance of a work machine.SOLUTION: An air compressor has an electric motor, a piston part which reciprocates, and a case part 30 which houses the piston part. The case part 30 includes: a crank case 24 formed with a crank chamber 29; a cylinder part which defines a compression chamber with the piston part; and an intake passage 31 which allows communication between the compression chamber and the outside of the case part 30. The cylinder part is erected from an outer periphery part of the crank case 24 and has a cylindrical shape. The intake passage 31 has: an intake port 31a provided at the cylinder part and connected to the outside; a first passage 31b provided at the cylinder part and allowing communication between the intake port 31a and the crank chamber 29; and a second passage 31c provided at the cylinder part and allowing communication between the crank chamber 29 and the compression chamber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
