To suppress the generation of cracking on a formed product without depending on the change of a bending die.
The end part 22 of a front cross member 20 of a component of a frame for vehicles is sharply inclined and has a frame shape which is bent at a relatively small radius. In the shape of the end part 23 used generally in a conventional frame, the shape between the bent part A and a free end G is made into a straight shape. Contrastively, the end part 22 is hollowed by preliminarily changing the planar shape of that part into the straight shape and the elongation is made larger than that in the case the change is not performed in the part D between a bent part A where the elongation is small as compared with the bent part G where the elongation is large and the free end G. Consequently, the end part 22 is made into the planar shape where the excessive elongation in the bent part A is suppressed.
