PURPOSE: To provide a work receiving/delivering mechanism between a work transfer device and a work machining device, which is suitable for machining a work while shifting it to a plurality of stations.

CONSTITUTION: A transfer device is equipped with an arm which turns horizontally and a hand 17 which is advanced and retreated on the arm. On the hand 17, a groove 44 for receiving the first flange part 37 formed on the work is formed, and a groove 67 for receiving the second flange part 38 formed on the work is formed. When the work is held on the hand 17 and the arm is turned, the second flange part 38 of the work is set into the receiving groove 67 of a working device. In this state, if the hand 17 is retreated, the work can be received and delivered.
