To provide means that can suppress occurrence of shoe wound on an outer peripheral surface of a work-piece regardless of materials of the shoe.SOLUTION: A work-piece support device (6) comprises: a base (10); a shoe (11), arranged in at least one position relating a circumferential direction of a work-piece (1a) that is rotationally driven using a rotationally driving device (4), which is slidably contacted with a peripheral surface of the work-piece (1a); and a support body (12) that supports the shoe (11) with respect to the base (10).
