Abstract:
To provide a workpiece positioning clamp which reduces a dead space near a workpiece when pressing a processing object (a workpiece) in a machine tool or the like, and which, for example, in robot welding using a torch, positions a workpiece so as to minimize disturbance in a torch traffic line and in an approach by the torch to a weld zone.SOLUTION: A toggle clamp 1 comprises: a handle 4 provided in a rotatable manner on a longitudinal material disposed upright on a mounting surface; and arms 5 and 6 that rotate or move linearly in a workpiece direction in accompany with rotation of the handle, and that are locked using a toggle mechanism. A workpiece positioning clamp provided with the toggle clamp includes an abutting part 8b therein for contacting and pressing a workpiece, that can be vertically rotated and positionally fixed at a tip of the arms.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
