Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve proper operation of a workpiece processing device in terms of effectively utilizing energy using a plurality of servomotors.SOLUTION: An automatic lathe system 1 (a workpiece processing device) comprises two main spindles 21a and 31a for holding a workpiece, two servomotors 22a and 32a for respectively driving the main spindles 21a and 31a, current detection units 22b and 32b for detecting a regenerative current and a consumption current generated in response to the respective operations of the servomotors 22a and 32a and control units 23 and 33 for controlling the operations of the servomotors 22a and 32a by applying the regenerative current generated by the servomotors 22a and 32a to the consumption current of the other servomotors 32a and 22a. The control units 23 and 33 adjust quantity of the regenerative current applied to the consumption current by making the execution timing different between processing with one main spindle 21a and processing with the other main spindle 31a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3B
