To simplify the configuration of equipment and reduce the equipment costs by eliminating necessity for furnishing a function to invert a work (w) in addition to a function to support the work (w).

The work processing method according to the present invention is to process a work (w) whose front and rear surfaces at least are to be processed, in which the work (w) is supported with one surface facing front on a work placing means 20 equipped with a work supporting part formed in compliance with the shape of the work to be handled, and this surface facing front is subjected to processing, and then the work placing means 20 is rotated round the rotary shaft and therefrom the work placing means 20 is released in the condition that the processed surface is positioned to the rear, and the work (w) is handed over to a receiving means 42 and supported in such a condition that the other surface is positioned to the front, and this surface is subjected to processing. Accordingly the work (w) under processing can be supported by the work placing means 20, and it is also possible to invert the work (w) with one surface processed and hand it over to the receiving means 42.
