To provide a work site managing system where a space for preserving a time card is not required and the attendance/absence of an operator and personals for respective work sites can be grasped on a real time basis.

The system is provided with a handy terminal 20 transmitting a signal based on data generated by reading codes printed on name plates 10a, 10b,... on which codes showing individual information on the operators are printed, a receiver 30 receiving the signal transmitted from the terminal and a computer 40 recording data on the attendance/absence of the operator based on the received signal.
