PURPOSE: To vertically adjust the working surface quickly and automatically by arranging a pair of second rails in such a manner as to slide on a first stationary rail fixed to a panel, supporting a support bracket of the working surface on the second rails, and installing a driving means for moving up and down a channel member put in the connecting state between the second rails to move up and down the working surface. CONSTITUTION: This work station comprises a pair of stationary rails 5 installed on a support rail 2, a pair of slide rails 6 fitted on the stationary rails, a fixing channel 8 for connecting the stationary rails to each other, and a driving mechanism connected to a support bracket 3 of the working surface 4, a slide channel 7 and the fixing channel 8 to move the working surface 4 in the vertical direction. The channels 7, 8 are so constructed that the whole width of a remodeling device can correspond to the standard distance between the existing support rails 2. In order to move the working surface, a motor 22 for moving the channels to be freely separated and made close is fixed to the slide channel 7 to be controlled to be vertical to the slide channel, the slide rails and the working surface by a driving screw 21.
