PURPOSE: To provide a work storing device which is capable of avoiding damages caused by collisions with works.

CONSTITUTION: A storing table 11 is provided in contact with a carrying line 1. A storing surface 15 where a work (W) is loaded is formed on the upper surface of the storing table 11. A work pushing-in member 20 which pushes the work (W) toward the storing table 11 is provided on a carrying surface 1a of the carrying line 1. The storing surface 15 is inclined so that a down grade may be obtained as the storing surface moves away from a connecting part 15a, and the angle of inclination relative to the carrying surface 1a is set in the range between 0 and 45 degrees. The static friction coefficient of the storing surface 15 is set in the range between 0.3 and 0.6.
