To provide a work supply device allowing works to be supplied in alignment while securing the fallen-down conditions of the columnar or cylindrical works even with their lengths smaller than their outer diameters.

The work supply device 1 comprises a chute 3 for receiving the works W and a plurality of movable blades 5a-5d and a plurality of fixed blades 6a-6d alternately arranged in parallel on the terminal thereof. The fixed blades 6a-6d are fixed thereto with their respective upper end faces 11a-11d stepwise higher in sequence as being apart from the chute 3, and the movable blades 5a-5d are repetitively moved up and down in preset moving cycles by movement driving means 10a, 10b, whereby the works W on the chute 3 are supplied in alignment through the upper end face of the rearmost fixed blade to the next process while being transferred in sequence to the upper end faces of the movable blades and the fixed blades in sequence. One of the upper end faces 7a of the movable blades 5a-5d is formed to be repetitively irregular in the longitudinal direction.
