Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work support device and a work support method which support work for moving a suspended cargo so that the work can be performed more safely.SOLUTION: The work support device comprises: a range adjusting part that determines, until a suspended cargo is lifted at a prescribed height at which confirmation for safety of a lifted state of the suspended cargo is performed, a range for determining safety of a worker engaging in lifting of the suspended cargo on a photographed image of a lower part of the boom tip part, the range being made to correspond to a lifting point positioned below a support point for supporting the suspended cargo provided at a boom tip part in a boom of the lifting device; and an object person detecting part that detects whether or not a person is in the range on the basis of the image of the lower part of the support point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
