Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply provide an automatic brake mechanism at low cost by constituting the automatic brake mechanism with a mechanical link mechanism, providing a detecting means detecting the turning angle of steering, and transmitting the application force extracted by it to a brake shaft.
SOLUTION: An intermediate shaft 11 is provided in the lateral direction of a machine body at the lower section of a clutch housing CH, a rotary arm 13 is coupled with a rotary spindle 9 journalled below an engine E, and the rotary arm 13 and a knuckle arm 20 are connected by a detecting link 19. When a steering handle is rotated for a left turn, for example, the detecting link 19 is interlocked, and a left rear wheel brake device is operated via a connecting rod 25 and an automatic brake rod 26. When the steering handle is returned to the straight travel state, the right and left automatic brake rods 26, 27 are excited downward by springs, and the operation of the right and left rear wheel brake devices is stopped via the right and left brake cams 65, 66.
