PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additive which suppress decrease in hardening at the temperature of releasing the road while having the effect of softening asphalt, and also prevents poor appearance such as whitening.SOLUTION: An asphalt workability improvement agent consist of ester of neopentyl polyol having two or three hydroxyl groups and 8-22C monohydric fatty acid. The agent may be added at any stage as long as asphalt is flowable by heating; however, it is added at the time of producing asphalt mixture.SELECTED DRAWING: None
