Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cutoff water readily at a connection between an underwater structure and a working box, when partially performing cofferdam around the underwater structure.SOLUTION: A fist box body 11 has a first edge part 21 in contact with a weir column 2 and a second edge part 22. A second box body 12 has a third edge part 23 in contact with the weir column 2 and a fourth edge part 24 in contact with the second edge part 22. A first cutoff packing 31 is disposed on the first edge part 21, a second cutoff packing 32 is disposed on at least one of the second edge part 22 and the fourth edge part 24, and a third cutoff packing 33 is disposed on the third edge part 23. When water is discharged from a closed working box 10, each of a compressive deformation amount of the first cutoff packing 31, a compressive deformation amount of the second cutoff packing 32, and a compressive deformation amount of the third cutoff packing 33 is within a predetermined range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
