PURPOSE: To provide a working device for glass plates capable of executing simultaneous main cutting line forming, cracking and peripheral edge grinding of many sheets of the glass plates, shortening working time and improving productivity.

CONSTITUTION: This working device 1 for glass plates includes a glass plate carrying in section 2, a main cutting line forming section 3 arranged in contiguity and succeeding to this glass plate carrying in section 2, a glass plate cracking section 4 arranged in contiguity and succeeding to this main cutting line forming section 3, a glass plate peripheral edge grinding section 5 arranged in contiguity and succeeding to this glass plate cracking section 4 and a glass plate ejecting section 6 arranged in contiguity and succeeding to this glass plate peripheral edge grinding section 5. The main cutting line forming section 3, the glass plate cracking section 4 and the glass plate peripheral edge grinding section 5 are respectively so constituted that two sheets of the glass plates 7 can be simultaneously treated.
