To provide a working gas circulating type engine capable of restraining supply of moisture to a combustion chamber.
This working gas circulating type engine includes the combustion chamber 11 for supplying an oxidizing agent, fuel for generating steam by combustion with the oxidizing agent and a working gas higher in the ratio of specific heat than air, capable of expanding the working gas in response to combustion of the fuel and capable of exhausting the steam and the working gas after combustion of the fuel, a circulating passage 20 circulating gas including the working gas to the intake side from the exhaust side of the combustion chamber 11 to be again supplied to the combustion chamber 11, a condenser 50 arranged in the circulating passage 20 and condensing the steam included in the gas circulating in the circulating passage 20 as a condensate, and a deaeration device 70 for supplying the separated working gas to the circulating passage 20 on the upstream side of the condenser 50 with the combustion chamber 11 as a reference in the circulating direction of the gas circulating in the condenser 50 or the circulating passage 20, by separating the working gas dissolved in the condensate via a deaeration film 71 having gas permeability.
