Abstract:

To provide a working gas circulation type engine the engine startability of which can be improved.

Fig.2 shows a relationship between a lapsed time after starting and an integrated value Ne_SUM of an engine speed. When a starter signal is changed over from OFF into ON at a time t₀, cranking is started. The integrated value Ne_SUM starts to rise after the cranking is started, and further rises along with explosion in a combustion chamber, and reaches a threshold value Ne_TH at a time t₁. In this embodiment, A O₂ supply amount is fixed before the time t₁, and feedback control is executed after the time t₁ so that an O₂ concentration in working gas flowing in a circulation path 12 is a reference concentration or lower.
