To provide a constitution of a support head capable of easily performing maintenance in a working head for a machine tool including the support head for supporting a spindle unit.

The working head for the machine tool is provided with the spindle unit including a spindle mounted to the tool; and the support head including a dividing mechanism for dividing an angle position by rotating the spindle unit. The support head includes support shafts arranged in the state that an axis is made coincident with the rotation axis and arranged so as to be opposed to each other while clamping the spindle unit; and first and second support parts including a bearing member fixed to a housing and rotatably supporting the support shaft through a bearing respectively. The support shafts in the respective support parts are supported on the bearing member in the state that they become movable in an axial direction of the support shaft with the bearing member by releasing the fixed state with the spindle unit and releasing fixing relative to the housing of the bearing member.
