Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working medium capable of improving heat substance movement in absorption and achieving high efficiency COP, in the working medium including a refrigerant selected from water, methanol, ethanol and a mixture of these refrigerants, and an ionic liquid as a sorbent.SOLUTION: A working medium includes at least one refrigerant, at least one monohydric aliphatic alcohol having 6 to 10 carbon atoms, and at least one ionic liquid made of at least one organic cation and at least one anion. The working medium exhibits improved efficiency COP in an absorption heat pump in comparison with working media containing no alcohol having 6 to 10 carbon atoms.SELECTED DRAWING: None
