Abstract:
To provide a working method of an end part of piping, a method that causes no noticeable lowering of strength or breaking at the end part even in the case of a large expansion rate in expanding the end part of the piping, and also to provide a manufacturing method of a piping joint with a flange.
The end part of the piping 1 is compressed in the axial direction to increase the thickness and then expanded stepwise through more than one expanding process. It is then inserted into a piping insertion hole in the flange at the end part of piping. The end part of the TS piping projecting from the hole is compressed in the axial direction to increase the thickness and is then expanded.
