Abstract:
PURPOSE: To work a moulded body made of polytetrafluoroethylene or an ultra- high molecular weight polyethylene at favorable dimension precision.
CONSTITUTION: A moulded body of polytetrafluoroethylene or an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene is enclosed with an enclosing material 3 such as solid paraffin, and the outer diameter of the moulded body 1 is cut and/or polished to specified dimensions, and the residual enclosing material 3 is eliminated.
