PURPOSE: To ease the crushing work without holding the edge of a mortar by fixing an upper circumference holding plate with a rotation preventing rubber and lower circumference holding plate with adjusting screws.

CONSTITUTION: In advance, the position of both upper and lower circumference holding plates 1 and 2 is adjusted with adjusting screws 3, in order that both upper and lower fixing holes 7 and 9 may respectively push both upper and lower mortar circumferences 6 and 8. Thereafter, both plates as a stand are fixed, with fitting pieces, onto the kitchen table. Because of a proper weight of mortar and the load due to the grinding work, the mortar is fixed, so as to be pushed by a rotation preventing rubber 4 fitted to the upper circumference holding plate 1, only by inserting the mortar from above the upper circumference holding plate 1 downward into the stand. Moreover, the mortar itself can be also prevented, by the rotation preventing rubber 4, from the rotation due to the grinding work.
