Abstract:

To provide a track/road working vehicle capable of respectively applying the braking force to one steel wheel and the other according to the longitudinal position of the steel wheels with respect to a traveling body even when the traveling body makes the change of direction and the axle load on the steel wheels is changed.

The track/road working vehicle has first and second brake devices 50a, 50b for braking the rotations of first and second steel wheels 40a, 40b when the vehicle travels on a track, and a controller 60 for controlling the braking operation of the first and second brake devices 50a, 50b. The controller controls the braking forces applied to the first and second steel wheels 40a, 40b by the detection signal of a steel wheel longitudinal position detector 62 so that the front side braking force is applied to the steel wheel located on the front side and the rear braking force is applied to the steel wheel located on the rear side.
