To provide a conveyance system in which an aggregate of lots of types of workpieces can still be kept organized on a discharge conveyor even at the switching of the types of workpiece.
Each of n-pieces of conveyance stations for the number n of machining devices is provided with: a first temporarily storage place 19 for temporarily storing a pallet P. The conveyance station excluding the leading conveyance station is provided with: a second temporarily storage place 21 for temporarily storing a pallet P to be discharged; and a discharged pallet stopping device 16 for temporarily stopping the pallet P on a discharge conveyor 12. When the preceding types of the workpieces W flow in at the switching of the types of workpieces, the trailing conveyance stations transfer the pallet P from the first temporarily storage place 19 to the second temporarily storage place 21, and are brought into standby until the preceding types of workpieces pass through and discharge the pallet P to the discharge conveyor 12. When the succeeding types of workpieces flow in, the discharged pallet stopping devices 16 restrain the succeeding types of workpieces from passing, and the trailing conveyance stations are controlled to put priority on the pallet P to be discharged present on an own station.
