To provide a workpiece conveying apparatus capable of easily removing a bar with a simple structure, to provide a press machine provided with the workpiece conveying apparatus, and to provide a bar removal method in the workpiece conveying apparatus.

A plurality of workpiece holders 52 are fitted to a slide plate 71 on a bar 14, and are connected to a movement plate 72 by a plate connection part 73. The plate connection part 73 is provided with: an engagement part 731 formed at the movement plate 72; and the part 732 to be engaged formed at the slide plate 71 and with which the engagement part 731 is engaged. When the fixed bar 141 is moved downward with respect to the movement bar 142, the movement bar 142 is disengaged, and further, the engagement of the engagement part 731 to the part 732 to be engaged is disengaged. Since the movement bar 142 and the slide plate 71 can be simultaneously disengaged by one downward movement, and an actuator is made needless as the plate connection part 73, its structure can be made simple.
