Abstract:
To provide a workpiece cutting method for cutting a rod-shaped workpiece having a predetermined dimension, correctly and at a low cost.
According to the workpiece cutting method, both side surfaces of the rod-shaped workpiece 1 are pinched and clamped by clamp portions 3, 3 operable by clamp cylinders 11, 12, etc., and a diamond cutter 4 in high-speed operation is lowered to cut the workpiece 1, followed by removing cut pieces 2, 2, etc. from a table 7.
